Summary

For many of us, working at a non-Jewish company (or with non-Jewish clients) has always had its advantages and disadvantages. But from the onset of the war, many of us are struggling with the dramatic and sudden bifurcation of our identities, roles, and reality as Jewish and professional women. While we are consumed with thoughts, prayers, and anxiety about our loved ones in Israel, we are still called to our highest professional performance and interactions in a world where our non-Jewish colleagues have moved on to “business as usual.” Further, we may be suddenly at odds with our companies’ or clients’ official statements about the war (or lack thereof) and questioning our closest work relationships. Please join us for a guided discussion to share our experiences of bifurcation, support each other, and brainstorm about ways to cope.
